RRDTool module for PHP

This is a module for php4 that I wrote a very long time ago that provides access to the rrdtool C library to php scripts.

The code is very old and buggy.  It was picked up sometime around 2002 by a Debian project contributor and further development occurred within the Debian universe.  You may be able to find the latest version of the code in the Debian repository, if they haven’t abandoned it yet.

I’m posting these files here for posterity and in case they may be useful to someone else.

    Hey Joey,

I intend to package php5-rrdtool [1] to be part of the official Debian distribution and I’m contacting you after track you on search engines.

I’ve downloaded sources [2] and successfully built a debian package (php5-rrdtool), but I faced a
few issues preventing me to upload the result to the official Debian repository.

I’ll be glad if you can answer to any of these:

    * Via phpinfo() I’ve got the module version 1.2.x, is there any other
repository apart from [2], I can use to track versions?

    * Is there any update for the version I’m working with (1.2.x)?

    * The .tar.gz file contains the following files with a reference to
the Copyright holder but no information about the license:

    config.m4 php_rrdtool.h rrdtool.c rrdtool_logo.h

Regards, and thanks for working on this module.

I have not been involved with php-rrdtool in almost 8 years. My last communication was with Artur R. Czechowski who contacted me about including it into Debian. I have seen some other versions of php-rrdtool floating around with version numbers such as 1.0.49, 1.2, etc. I have not looked into these so I don’t know the origins of them, nor if there’s a repository for them (I couldn’t find one anyway.)

Feel free to do whatever you wish with php*-rrdtool!
